Well both have there good points and bad. I went with it for the simple fact that I can tune my own car and not have to worry about forking over $300-400 every time I change something out. Cobb AP is a wonderful tool and not as technical as the opensource stuff, but again it all depends on what you are going for with your car and how much you want to do on your own.

Just that you have to be able to trust it's battery power and that it wont freeze up on you. Your laptop will be on to do the reflash, and if it dies in the middle of the flash, you're ####ed.

Like said above, just have your laptop plugged in to your AC adapter and not running off batteries durring the reflashing process.

Guys,

i want to hit the speed limiter of my WRX, Model 2010. It is not necessary a connector?
Just buy the Tactrix Openport 2.0 and plug it on OBD2 connect to my note by a USB, Save the original map on a safety place. And use the romrider to hit the speed limit.
Its all ok???
Actually i am satisfied with the stock program, in future i must sit down study and see what i really want from the PoisonGod Machine :P.

Thanks for the attention
