Noticed some oil in intake hose before inter cooler

Got an 07 WRX as I was changing out my clutch I took my inter cooler off and found SOME oil inside the intake hose from engine to intercooler. It wasn't much just coated the bottom of the hose about 1.5 inch wide section. Any ideas if there's is an issue here?

Probably just blow bye...you'll always have a little. But, if it's pooling up or a lot i'd be worried. A little isn't much to worry about.

It's normal I'm pretty sure, Most cars have PCV valves that rerout back to the intake, that's why people buy valve cover breathers or catch cans, the oil definately reduces efficiency of the intercooler. Now if there's a lot you might have worn rings or valve seals. But some is normal

Or AOS systems to try and reduce the blow bye a tad.
