new Cobb AP Vs. older Cobb AP

ok, I have a chance to buy a Cobb Ap V1 for $300, it was only on a 06 WRX for 2 days, is it worth buying for my 06 wrx or is there any problems with buying an older one. Its pretty much brand new.

Thanks for any feed back you can give.

There's more features with the new one, just do a search I'm sure you'll find stuff comparing the two.

Just get the old one, the new features really aren't worth the extra cash outlay, at least in my opinion, but hey what do I know....

i was curious as well about the USED access port.

i would like to save the cash and get a used one. what are the issues im looking at? can they be used on different cars (or are they tied like previous poster noted, married) or once used only can be used on that car. what about different model years 07 vs 02 usage?

anything else to watch out for?

thx

Call COBB @ 801-713-0035 and get to the sales department. Those guys know what they are doing. Ask them if it's still ok for a 07 WRX.

The 07 STI will work with the WRX. When I got my new AP V2 it had WRX/STI/Legacy on the book that came with it. You just have to be certain that the AP is unmarried from the previous car.

Is the 07 WRX a DBW?
