Cool need a tuners help.

hey guys ive been having a bit of an issue for the past month or so and i wanna know how everything is looking so can someone give me a list of the stuff i need to datalog on my ap? i dont have a wideband so i know the afrs wont be worth a crap, but to kinda give an idea whats going on, im getting a misfire, or at least thats what it feels like. but is a big loss in power(like im trying to tow another car with mine). now if i reset my ecu its back to its normal self for a day or two. but i dont want to keep doing that because its "learning" to fix something thats going on. i am planning to get a new turbo inlet (due to a subaru fail with the crap they put on from the factory) there is a small tear in it but im 99% sure i have the rip closed off in the turbo inlet clamp. its not throwing any codes at the moment but about a month ago it did throw cyl1,2,3,4 misfire when it was blazing hot outside(about 110-115). then the next day it gave me a lean code. it has had factory intake, factory bypass valve on and have since i got it. car just has a cheap a$$ catless up. on it and a catless turboback running on the cobb 91 oct ots map. i am planning on getting a protune(very mild tune) here this spring at cobb of plano. but i really want to get anything thats going awry fixed prior to that. now my wife has told me it stinks bad when i romp on it(if she is following me)
im guessing its running rich, but without the wide band i cant know for sure. so again if one of you guys that really knows whats what with the charts could kindly just send me a list of stuff to log i would love to have he/she take a look at this for me. thanks a million in advance. it does have some miles on it...159XXX
im really getting ready to retire this old car to my wife and her granny driving in the spring but i want it a bit better running.

PS i just did new plugs(pre gapped) and drop in wix filter from oreillys maybe 2 weeks ago.

Cobb's maps run very rich... I didn't know you could datalog with an AP? Umm I'd suggest the following:

RPM
IAM
WGDC
Egine Load
MAF
FBKC
FLKC
IDC
A/F learning
Target boost
IAT
Manifold relative pressure
That should give you a over all good idea of what's going on with the car. Just let it get up to operating temp and then start logging. It sounds like a rich condition, could be going into fail safe mode.

ok i can get most of these i think, question though...i dont know all of the acronyms so i need a little clarification. IAM?, IAT?, and is fbkc the feedback knock? and FLKC is that the fine knock learn? i dont have manifold realative pressure. and only "load" i have is calculated Load. is that the same as engine load? sorry i would love nothing more to have an amazing tuner to sit and watch. i wanna learn this stuff bad. this is my most lacking area of knowledge with these cars.

i dont really think so, it still hits target boost just doesnt have that push you back into the seat feeling. and kinda has a hesitation through the entire rpm range. if i grandma it around i honestly never notice.(which i do most of the time) but if i need to merge onto the highway and it decides to do this, it sucks. i have gone over it looking for boost leaks and like i said it still hits target boost at 16.2 psi but it sometimes just leaves me with a feeling like i just left a dates house with no panties to show for it.

IAM = Ignition Advanced Multiplier
IAT Intake Air Temp
Calculated Load I figure is the same as Manifold Relative pressure since it's calculated.

Could be a batch of bad gas causing your IAM to drop...just food for thought.

ok so i have only 2 things that are ignition related on here, i have ignition switch(just tells me my car is on) and ignition timing. would that work? i can get the intake temp and ill include the calc load as well. ill go get a 3rd gear pull here in a few and report back later. thanks a bunch keith.

the only way its bad gas is if 3 different stations in my town have it and one in tulsa. i drive 25 mins to work so i fill up often. one more thing if i did have a clogged injector would it run lean? or rich? logic says lean as it wouldnt be getting as much fuel as its supposed to right? now a bad coil may cause the rich condition due to the fuel not igniting...correct? kinda hoping its something along these lines rather than anything requiring a tear down. its a daily driver so that would suck bad.

ps: correction i just looked again i have dynamic advance, and dynamic advance mult. would you like those as well?

Dynamic advanced multi. would be the same. It should be 16 if it is less then you are experience lot of knock somewhere.
Could be a loose coil pack or a bad one, which would cause a loss in power because it's not getting enough spark to ignite all the fuel mixture.

Ok just did 3 or 4 pulls some 3rd and 4th gear didn't want to take it past 5k in 4th for safety reasons. Getting pretty fast for open road conditions. But i was feeling the issue through all pulls. I will upload them when i get back home. Im on my phone now so its quite impossible. Update coming in a bit

Hmmm I don't see anything other than the Dynamic advance multiplier is 0. So I am guess either it's not the same a IAM or they calculate it different than romraider.

Ok so i must have double clicked the dam cause it wasn't checked this morning when i looked. What was on there was just the dynamic advance. Not the multiplier. I monitored the dam on my way to work and it never moved from 3. You said it should be 16? What could cause that? Knock? Other than higher Oct gas how can i fix that. I've never used anything but 91 Piss water in it. Or is it that i just really need to get off this ots map?
