My Stage2 experience

All I have to say is, Wow!! I uploaded the Stage2 map and drove conservatively for about 15 miles. I then opened it up and was blown away. My engine feels a lot more smoother on the top end and pulls harder than what I was expecting. Going to do some datalogging tonight and see how everything is going.

In addition, I have been getting 25.8 mpg on the freeway. Not only am I getting amazing power out of stage2 but, the gas mileage has improved as well.

thanks for sharing, did u have a previous stage 1 tune?

I went from stock to stage 2. My only mods are Cobb short shifter with Kartboy bushings, K&N drop in filter, and Invidia Q300 turboback exhaust. All I have left are springs. I want to keep stock height but stiffer springs.

What's wrong with the drop-in?

You need a turbo back exhaust, or a cat back exhaust with your choice of a downpipe, and the access port to go stage two.

Your OTS stage2 map isn't going to adjust for it, causing you to run lean. You need a Protune for the intake modification.

Here is my datalog, running Stage2 91ACN High Wastegate. Everything looks fine to me. I'm not seeing where I am running lean. I figure running a tad bit lean would increase power. Can you guys take a look and let me know if you see anything i'm not seeing. Any help would be appreciated.

There are OTS maps for aem and cobb intake though but only those two.

I just wrote and sent Cobb my datalog and they said the drop in filters are either a hit or miss. They looked at my datalog and said the drop in is a hit in my case. I'm psyched about it. I'm wanting to keep the look of stock in the engine bay, with the exception of my pully's when I get them.

Good plan for a practical ride height and to preserve tire clearance.
