Talking Looking for open source tuner!!

As the title states, I'm looking for someone in the Tacoma/Puyallup area to help tune my car. I would do it myself but I don't have that much trust in me. Also don't have access to a laptop. Just looking for someone who has done it before to help give me a safe stage 2 tune. Thanks!

Thanks! Sent him a message. Not too bad of pricing either. The shop I was going to told me in September that they would tune my Suby to stage 2 for about $250-$300. Now that I have the money, they charge everyone $650. I guess its not too bad because they use a dyno and its unlimited runs.

PM Nagyhead, he is up in Seattle. He used to work at KITO, and with Dom there. Im sure he could help you out also.

they charge 350 + tax for a reflash, Dom dose the tunes on Kito's dyno. but if you have the ablility to flash yourself, then i would do his internet tuning. you send him a log and he tweeks it until its perfect. you dont get numbers in the end but they are only numbers

Does he have to use the dyno? Or can he just flash and go. Looking for the cheapest way, without doing it myself.

He dose street tunes as well, but you have to drive to him, and he lives in Lake Stevens, WAY out in the cut. just email him from that link and he'll get back to you pretty fast. that laptop naver leaves his side.

He's been tuning my car via internet for the past month and it's running VERY well. Definintely worth it over some off the shelf map.

Thanks for all the help guys! I shot an email to him yesterday, just waiting for a reply. Nagy, I know you posted an article of someone who passed that worked at PIA (Pacific Import Auto in Parkland\Tacoma) Do you know if any of those guys do street tuning? I'll be stopping by there probably Tuesday to ask myself, but just curious.

Got an email back from Dom. I love this guy and haven't even met him or talked to him in person yet. Said street tunes are $150!! I think I can handle that!!. Granted I won't have the #'s to show off and brag about, but hey, the butt dyno works well with me.

Dom is a great guy, very helpful. after you get it tuned , you can just get a baseline run on a dyno if you want the numbers.

Like Nagy had stated above, numbers are numbers. As long as you are happy, thats what really matters. Glad to hear you finally got it done and you are happy with it.
