not really i though the cobb tuner had built in tunes an the ability to tweak them i was just curious if the cobb tuner can tune for the hybrid motor or would it be better to get a custom tune i just want to be able to have differnt tunes available to me whenever i want to change them

The OTS maps will not work for a hybrid map.

You will need a custom/pro tune for it.

Custom tune required. It's not like you get a table where you go down a check list and click on the items you have.

Unless you're running a large turbo setup or will be switching back and forth between different fuels (93 <-> E85, 93 <-> race gas), multiple maps are pointless anyways.

You're not in boost on long highway trips anyways so a different map would not help. For example, Cobb's econo maps have been known to be BS for as long as they've been out. You get better results on the regular map and controlling your foot.

Here are a couple of videos that you could watch to give you an idea of how it works.

way above my head. Maybe someday I will start to understand this stuff. To a tuner for me. Besides, getting this desk top computer into my car wouldnt be easy; and I would need a really long extension cord for logging anything.

I use a cheap laptop with XP I got for $100 or so. Works great.
