How to tune my 03 wrx back to stock?

I recently bought my 03 wrx. The old owner had to put on the stock exhaust, headers etc. to pass smog and sell me the car. now that I have the stock headers, exhaust put on the car things are starting to break. Im wondering where I would go to tune my car back to stock. Im pretty sure my car is tuned to have all these aftermarket parts, I just want to know how i would go about getting it tuned back to handle the stock headers, exhaust.

What do you mean by things starting to break? Did the old owner of the car say he got the car tuned? You should stay with the stock manifolds anyway. How is the car running right now running wise?

Take it to the dealer and have them flash it back.

+1 to above... might not be the issue at all

The car is running poorly right now. I have an engine light on and scanned a p 1088 which is some sensor. the car is idling poorly and just not getting full potential out of it. a few months ago I got a check engine light for a bad purge valve which I had fixed. I keep getting problems with the cars exhaust which is why i think it needs to be tuned back for the stock exhaust. I am the 3rd owner and i guess the 1st owner did all the work. The guy i bought the car from doesnt know much on the matter. He isnt sure if the car was ever tuned. I am assuming it is tuned for these aftermarket parts I have sitting in my living room, based on the way i keep getting check engine lights and faulty parts/sensors. So the dealership would be able to get me back to my stock settings? and what needs to be reset? the cars main computer?

They will get it back to stock specs. Worst case scenario, find a tuner in your area to help diagnose where the issues are. It's hard to diagnose problems over the internet.

The dealer may not even charge you for the flash (may not fix your problem either, just a shot in the dark).

You are getting CEL's, which in a sense is a good thing (car is telling you what the problems are) It might even be flashed to stock already.
