How do I marry my AP to my car?

Ive got a v1 cobb accessport w/ the maps on it that I want. But how do I marry it to my car to download them?

I plug it in and pick the map I want....turn off the car and back on and it reads error on the AP.

what error does it read? because to marry it all you have to do is use it, did the seller state that he/she un-married it from their car?

There is a pretty easy walk through with pics in the First post of that thread. The V1 is pretty fugly I must say compared to the V2 AP.

You do connect the two green connectors. That puts the car onto test mode. Then you put the white connector on the white one. Kinda like you are capping it off. At least that's how my v2 worked.

I don't get this part, but if you meant an aftermarket up pipe/gutted up pipe... And a catless aftermarket DP back... Then run stage2... In Cali, run the 91octane map stage2 from your watered down petrol.

Step 1: Get the car good and drunk
Step 2: AP gets hooked up
Step 3: Car gets pregnant (Stage II)
Step 4: Shotgun wedding

That's how you marry an AP to a car.

Get your rear sway and tires next.... It will topple the stage 2 difference.
