HKS EVC-S help?

Hi everyone. This is my first post ever so here we go!
I have a 2001 bugeye wrx with stinger ecu, tbe, induction kit and a recently fitted a HKS EVC-S boost controller. This system is good but i am finding tuning a drama. I have the offset value at 55%, (around 15 psi) Response value at 45%, drop value at the default 100%, warning level at 20psi. and overboost function at 2.8psi. These settings a the best i have gotten from 6 hours of open road trial and error. The default setting for the over boost was at a dangerous 11.6psi which in turn added 11.6psi to the stock wastegate spring rate. This saw my boost guage tear up over 20 psi at 3500rpm. not cool, so just warning anyone out there who has purchased this item!
The car will "hop" in and out of power around 4500rpm. Now my guess is that i need to have the ecu re-tuned up again to match the new and improved power curve? If not does anyone know what my drama may be?
Thanks in advance for anyones help. Cheers

yep it sounds like you've got the right idea, the ECU parameters need adjusting whenever you start adding modifications or messing around with the boost levels

Hi thanks for the input. After a dyno tune i found a fuel pressure regulator was needed and now couldn't be running better! Holds 15psi from full spool to redline. Just in case anyone had a similar drama!
Cheers

Depending on turbo, 15PSI to redline isnt a bad thing, depending on the tuner. I have a map that holds 14PSI to redline for reference.
