flat foot shifting rpm

Hey guys. Going to the track tonight to get into the 12's for the 1st time hopefully in the newly stg 2 STi. I just reflashed the ecu with cobbs ap w/ launch control and flat foot shifting enabled map. I just set the launch control at 5,000 rpm and the flat foot shifting at 4,800 rpm. I know I should be good with the 5k launch control, but anyone have suggestions for the rpm settings for the flat foot shifting?? The first run will be without launch control and then I'm gonna try it out on the second run. Any suggestions are appreciated. Z

you plan on shifting around 4800 in all gears? You need to rev higher than that. I'd set it to 6200rpm.

Dudes I didnt even use FF shifting. I planed on doing the 1st run without using anything, which I did and ran a FN 13.4!!! 2 weeks ago stg1 I ran 13.2's...It was just too damn hot and humid tonight, the car was running really slow. 13.4 was my best time tonight too
TOO DAMN HOT!!! Waste of my time. I did use the LC once, and I had better 60' times not using it so I said F it.

For flat foot shifting, its all about where your power is. You need to know or find out where the torque is highest between that gear and the upcoming on and set it for that area basically.
