What other mods do you have done to the car? Is the transmission stock on your car? If so I would NOT put anything other than a stock clutch in there. A grabbier clutch puts more strain on an already not so strong tranny. Its much cheaper to have to replace a clutch than a transmission.

1) You don't need to take out the engine to change the clutch
2) The appropriate clutch for the mods you've listed is STOCK. Not anything grippier. Your transmission cannot handle a grippy clutch, it will break.
3) Engine porting? Are you talking about the heads? No, that is far from an effective power mod. There are plenty of easier and more cost effective things to do first.

WTRacing is more helpful than not
well if your looking for something to do you can take your exhaust manifold off and port that, there are bunch of write ups floating around does it give much power not anything to brag about but well the car is down it would keep you busy for a day or to
