Calwrx17 is an unknown
engine change

so i was wondering if anyone has or thought of converting their engine to diesel. if someone has done that already my question is how would that be done. and what would i need for it.

My first question would be 'why'?

You've got a performance car with an engine that was designed for it. Diesel engines are sturdy, heavy and are not high-revving powerplants.

A transplant like that is inconsistent with the rest of the WRX's finest attributes.

Not sure if it's been done. Although ive heard rumor of the diesel making it's way to the states soon to grab that community.
I know of quite a few guys that want it to happen super bad.
