NO You need more fuel and an entirely different tune.

go to this forum and read about e85

and even though the E-85 looks like it'll be way cheaper...because your using so much more fuel you'll actually be getting balls gas mileage...the only reason to run E-85 is if your looking for the power boost because it rates at 100+ octane

It is true that if you run e85 you will get worse gas mileage... however, since e85 is normally cheaper than 91 oct, some have reported spending less overall. On the other hand, others have reported spending more. It really depends, and I think the tune has to do a lot with it. With e85 you can run really lean, so that needs to be taken advantage of.

I've heard a good amount of people claim that up to 30% e85 is ok for the stock map, but don't take my word for it... just something to consider.

All I know is e85 gives you a pretty big increase in torque and HP for the change over. If there's an e85 station nearby, you ought to at least try it.

Stage 2 93 Octane

Stage 2 E85

I don't know about your car. Maybe a fuel pump and a tune, maybe injectors.

To run e-85 you will need atleast 30% better fuel flow I.E fuel pump, injectors... e-85 also has an average oct rating of about 105 to 107. To run e-85 you should have some sort of fuel controller like an apexi safc2 and someone who can tune it. positives are ability to run higher boost levels because it burns cooler and lowers knock and cost less. negatives are you need 30% more fuel flow and a tune also over a long period of time it can cause fuel lines to become worn out and brittle.

I would not suggest to convert to e-85, especially without a tune.
