Cobb Stage 2 and K&N Typhoon Intake

I just recently upgraded my 05 WRX and it now has an upipe, downpipe, cat-back exhaust and a K&N Typhoon intake. Cobb Stage 2 apparently works fine for everything but the intake. My WRX is running LEAN on Stage 2 93 Octane map. Cobb does not have a specific map for the K&N. There is a map available for the Cobb intake. Would that map help to correct the problem? Are there other options? Any assistance would be appreciated. I am sure that I am not the only one to have this problem.

Here is the best solution:

Take the K&N off and put the stocker back on until you are ready to get it custom tuned.

And welcome

I have also recently got a cobb ap with a catback exhaust and a K&N typhoon intake (no downpipe or uppipe). Some of the local suby owners have said that the cobb sf intake is almost identical to the K&N, but to only run a stage 1 with it. Also, they have said that you should have a dump tube for your wastegate unlike the stock and some aftermarket downpipes to run a stage 2 properly. Of course this is just locals telling me this and I am unsure of how they know, but I try to keep a eye on my A/F ratio often, and my does not seem to be running lean.

So you 1st said it's running lean and now it's NOT running lean?

You need to be more precise on your posts. Ron(DumDum) is the only one on here that can read minds.

Your locals are stupid.

I cannot say yes or no that it's ok, but I do believe it is. I'm just curious on how the OP is measuring the results he's getting.
