My V3 and intake arrived today from Cobb, sitting in the kitchen and I am sitting at my desk at work will be installing this weekend with my son he's all excited. So Cobb must have them going out. I ordered mine on July 26th.
Just got a email that it shipped :rocks: Thanks Adam at Pro Import Tuners for keeping me posted while cobb was slacking ROFL You guys are a great vendor and highly recommended !Thumbs Up
We do what we can. Sometimes when parts are this Hyped Up, the Manufactures can't keep up with the demand. But they usually recover and get caught up within a short time, so We appreciate your patience while they get up to speed!
Let us know how you like the New V3, we want to see everyone's mounting solutions!
Huh? That is the one thing I haven't considered...is where to mount it. Has anyone bought an extra trim ring, radio bezzel and tried cutting a hole and passing the wire through it? I would like to see where people are mounting.
The Only Pics I've seen of other setups are the ones that COBB posed.
I think other people are too exited to use it that they forget to post up their mounting setups, hahaha.
A "Din" hard mount would be cool but the tuner is a little big for a single din slot, you could certainly attach a mount to a single din plate though and have it offset a little so you could still access a single din stereo.
I don't have any pictues but that is basically where I put mine. I just went and bought a cell phone holder from best buy and stuck it to the left of the cluster like you were talking about.
The double sided tape already came loose from the back of my mount (where Cobb already had it attached) I came out one day to my ap laying in the floor cause it fell.
question...other than the mounting gimmick, plus a bigger screen, anything ACTUALLY better than the v2? I compared the two and it seems like they both perform the same functions.
On/off button, better resolution, better processor which helps for better datalogs, up to 6 gauges, and maybe some other things I can't think of right now. I was hesitant about making the switch but, am glad I did.
