I had a Cobb authorized tuner say that you can use them, but that they are so primitive that he doesn't like to and would rather use OS. The V2 offers more accessibility to ECU parameters and easier tuning. The last versions of software (both firmware and tuning software) that Cobb released for using V1s are several years old.
is it worth the 100 tho? i mean for the v2 its a good chunk of cash n i wanna use some money on other mods like a tmic and cai. and how hard is OS? im hardcore interested on learning to tune.
is it worth the 100 tho?Yes, if you are just going to run the OTS map that is in there. i mean for the v2 its a good chunk of cash n i wanna use some money on other mods like a tmic and cai. If you want a CAI and TMIC upgrade, get the v2 and how hard is OS? im hardcore interested on learning to tune. Then get a laptop/tactrix cable and download the software for OS
Do they have a v2 for 2002 WRX? I was thinking since my car is considered old that I had to go with the older AP. I have someone willing to sell me his AP for dirty cheap as well.
