Get either a panel filter or an intake if you want. Also a DP (down pipe) and or an aftermarket intercooler can make the BPV a bit louder. Honestly just about any method of making the BPV or even intake be heard will cost money.

Is a snorkus delete possible on an 08? If so you could do this. Its free! I know you can do it on 02-07. Anybody wanna chime in on this? A panel filter will not make your stock bpv any louder. At least it did not for mine.

From what ratfink has said. The newer model years have a snorkus on the STIs not the WRXs. He's owned both.

That is correct, STi's still apparently have them but the WRX's don't. I just had to slap a Perrin Cold Air on mine and it's like I vent to atmosphere now (at least inside the car).

Perrin claims you don't need a tune and I haven't yet (probably put 6k through it). The MAF is supposed to be in a good place that it's before any bends in the tubing so it has proper flow. That's what Perrin claims and I haven't had any noticeable ill effects from it. I am getting tune soon though, and I wouldn't want to run forever on it, but that's just me.
