About Hydra Ems

Its a good choice the Hydra Ems for a daily driver, considering is one of the only chances on EMS for my car(non USDM STI)

Right now i buy the 3" turbo back,TMIC,Headers.

In the future I'm considering a FP green, Injectors or May be go rotated but to much lag is an issue for me because i use the car like a daily driver and i run lots of milles in the highway.

Comments appreciated

I am running a Hydra on my daily driver.. Once it's setup it's just like a stock ECU in the way it operates.. Just make sure you don't need emissions as the hydra WILL not work with the OBDII, or should I say the OBDII will not work with the Hydra so it will NOT pass emissions...

I have a rotated mount GT35R with a .82 exhaust housing and the lag with the 2.5 block is not even noticable.. It's a GREAT daily driver with MASSVIE power..

Is there ANY possible way to get the hydra ems to work with an obd2 port? I really really want a hydra, but unfortunately in a few years i will have to comply with emmissions again.

The Hydra, or any standalone, is kinda overkill on most setups out there. If your intent is to use it a s a full out race/drag car then absolutly. But for most 18G and smaller turbos it's a waste.Enginuity has had sucess changing/rescaling the MAF limits to allow past 300g/s and with the 32 bit ECU's speed density of the factory sensors.Any standalone will absoluty have way more features (anit-lag,alky/meth injection, launch control, wastegate comp per gear, extra injector drivers..) but unless your going to use them thats a big chunk of change to spend for something that cheaper EM can do(Utec,Cobb,Opensource..).

Nope.The Hydra doesn't have OBDII capabilities/programming.
