My question is can you buy like production subaru engine to bolt right in? we got the experience to rebuild it how much you think it would cost?? just dont relly have the time is there any other good options to go with then? Also any tips you can give me id be more than help full we did just put a new clutch in this car 2 months ago hah.

How can you say "we can rebuild it" when it's not even apart? Can't calculate cost without having it apart.

Yes, you can find blocks new from the dealer or online. Same for used.

new-$3500-4500

A new OEM block will run just north of $2,000. But without knowing what's wrong you won't know if there is any additional head damage or what else might need to be replaced.

18 if you're fully pulling apart that motor and swapping the bits over on the new one and then installing the new engine. Not, 18 just to pull it out.
