03 wrx tunning questions

So ive been having some problems tunning after installing a new intake and was looking for advice of where to look next. ive been having p0171 cel off and on and my idle afr is ~17:1, however cruising afr is right on and WOT is 11.1:1. so far ive been playing with the tune, replaced some leaking vacuum lines, cleaned maf, and cleaned idle air sensor. The car runs seemingly fine little rough idle but barely noticable, CEL hasnt come back on yet but its only been 5 miles. i also have logs at idle and WOT if that would help, but any advice of what to check next would be appreciated.

MODS: un-equal length headers, short ram intake, silicone intake tube to turbo, cobb access port, running personally modified stage 1 map.

Thanks, Wayne

Exhaust leak before the wideband sensor or shortly after will cause this.

It could also be a vaccum leak. But to lean it out that much it would have to be a pretty decent one.

Why are you running a header on a basically stock car?

Hmmm, and what about the rest of the exhaust?
Catless up? Turbo back? You should have these to go along which would make you a stage two.

If not, I'm with PSInuse. And are you running a BOV!!???!?!!!!

hi again. i have stock BOV, header and up pipe is one piece and catless because im working on a budget and can only do 1 upgrade at a time it will make sense eventually just trust me lol. And there may be exhaust leak cause theres a flex joint in my header, i will check that out and see what i can figure out, thanks!

You'd be better off with a downpipe and full turbo back exhaust before ever needing a header.
