Thats all up to the driver.
My tranny is almost made of glass and is strong at 110k, with an 05 and being respectful of your car I would say that your gonna be just fine. Not saying that the worst cant happen, it would just more than likely happen to me and my 02 sooner than it would probably happen to you.
Even 3rd gear romps with a respectful clutch engagements can shear the teeth right off a gear. But, each person's transmission will have different results.
I'm at 314whp with 99k miles on my WRX. Been that way since 40k miles (roughly). I drive my car pretty damn respectably though. Even still on the stock clutch. With that being said, I wouldn't be surprised if I blew my tranny tomorrow.
Yep, I shockloaded and wiped out several gears and the rest of them sustained some damage from the chunks of metal that went flying all over the place inside my transmission when the teeth sheared off. I now have an empty bank account, a nice set of Albins gears, a story to tell, and a smile on my face.
Too much fun pedal + not enough clutch pedal = bye bye gears.
I was running Cobb's Stage 2, 93 Octane map with a turbo back exhaust at the time as well as a Turbo XS tmic and Grimmspeed pnp headers with high flow crosspipe (untuned for those).
There's no limit for how much it can hold some hold more and some just break with factory power...I was lucky I was pushing almost 400awhp before I decided to stop risking it and just buy a built box
Your question has been answered with the same on answer both here and NASIOC. There is no magic number. You make however much you want and you fix it if it breaks. It's part of modding cars, you will break stuff. The only original parts left on my car are the frame and the body.
i get what your saying the car can be a 100% stock and still blow. i em going to get up to 300 whp and telll you guys how its going
