When did your clutch go?

I am at 25,000 miles and just replaced my clutch. Lots of people are saying thats way too early, and i would reply saying its a WRX whatever. This is a bad reply but i wanted to know if it was typical for the clutch to go out around these miles cause i dont drive my car too hard but i do take it to the track here and there and rev to about 5 grand. When did you guys replace your clutch?

If you track it and do 5k slips, 25,000 miles sounds about right. How often you do those slips?

man, i have a friend that revs to 6krpm and dumps it every time he races

and hes at 42k miles now, stock clutch and tranny

his luck is going to run out soon, he is boosting 17psi with an AVCR on an otherwise stock car.

its cool seeing how fast it gets out of the hole tho.

I am at 10k and if smell is any indication, I will be replacing my clutch at 25k with the rest of you clutch slippers. Maybe at that time I will have have enough pennies pinched to go with a Real clutch and a real gearset...

i take my car to the track twice a month and i have had my car for about 2 years now. I going to treat this new clutch a lot better than my stock clutch however, it seems like i burned mine a lil early for the responses

my clutch blew at the same time the tranny crapped the bed at around 50k miles, stripped all the teeth off of 2nd gear, also shattered the clutch plate while I was at it. cool huh? I got pics posted somewhere here!
