I have to change my oil this weekend and I'm going with Royal Purple, I want to change my front and rear differentials and my tranny too. I'm going with 75w90 in the diffs but for the tranny im not sure i should go with 75w90 or Synchromax MT fluid???
IMO, either Reline MT-90 all the way around or Uncle Scotty's Cocktail. Just about every single owner I know goes this route.
Those gears will be smooth......You wont believe it's not butter
I've been running Redline 75W-90 NS in my transmission and Redline 75W-90 in my rear differential for almost 8,000 miles and everything seems pretty good so far
But why arent you guys using the neo synthetic gear oil used by subarus world rally team? I would assume that its aplication alone would be worth trying.

I've seen it referenced in Turbo Mag but where can you buy it? Who knows anything about it? Also the rally team doesn't have to worry about their tranny lasting longer than the race so does them using it really mean anything? It could be great short term but not good for longevity.

I've been running this same combo for 16,000 and wouldn't go back. I still remember the feeling the first time I shifted in to first while I was still moving...

Just bought that same tranny oil, can't wait to put it in this weekend.
so should i put redline mt-90 in my tranny or redline 75w 90? i want as close as stock as possible...that would be the redline 75 w 90 that is gl 5 rated right?
whats the diff between redline 75w90 NS and redline 75w90 which is better?

NS - This GL-5-type geal oil doesn't contain the friction modifiers for limited-slip hypoid differentials.
