Ticking sound

Whats up guys,
So first off I've been doing alot of research and just can't seem to find what I'm looking for. When I'm driving down a quite street and I'm eather in 2nd gear or 3rd gear, I can hear a little bit of a ticking sound coming from the motor. I know it's not the turbo spool because there is a difference between the two but this is a very faint tick sound. When I push in the clutch or put the car in neutral while I'm driving the ticking sound goes away so I don't think it's the tranny. The current mods on my car are a 3inch turbo back catless exhaust, tein lowering springs, and a stage 2 clutch (which the bearings are going out). Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Let me get this right, when you have the clutch engaged or in neutral, the ticking goes away?

But you don't think it's anything in the trsanny?

It's probably the throwout.

Yand exactly and I'm just taking a guess but if it was the tranny I would think that the ticking would continue with the car in neutral and with the clutch engaged/disengaged but tell me if I'm wrong. Alright that would make since, the bearings are going out.

I'd look into putting a stock clutch in there if everything else is OEM, it'll save you in the end.... but that's just my 2¢
