Question Subie Trans. Question?

I have a question about a mid-engine Subaru swap? If
I mount a 2.5 to a 914 5 speed transaxle will the motor
turn the same as a 914 motor? Also will the 2.5 bolt up
to a 914 t-axle? If I wanted to use the Subie Trans? Does anyone
know what was the last year the 2.5 was made with the 2WD?

Nose is exactly right. I remember the first one I saw with the V-8 in it, rather crazy to even imagine the power for such a thing.
