I have a 2012 WRX Hatch. Whenever I hit the gas the clutch starts to squeak but then when I apply little pressure the squeak goes away. When I press the clutch it feels funny too. But when I drive my car normal I don't have that problem only when I floor it. I could get the squeaking to stop if I push the clutch in and out while in neutral. Wondering if anyone has an idea of what the problem is? Will getting a new clutch fix it? I was thinking of getting a stage two because I still want it to be a daily driver.
Had a friend with an 08' hatch have this happen. Apparently, the spot welds on the firewall are weak and break? They have to pull the guts (motor) out and replace. Should make SoA do a wire tuck while they are in there. !Laugh!
Yeah, I'm pretty sure now that it's the throw out bearing. I found a video on Youtube. Some body with the same problem.
