Question Spline Count?

Ok so, odds are not alot of ppl are gonna know the answer to this so im looking for some gurus to really step up here.

Ive got a 92 JDM wrx and need to replace my clutch. Problem is, i cant really find anything around that im looking for. I want to go with either center force or ACT. My clutch size is supposed to be 225mm stock.

I found a clutch on the centerforce website, but it lists the size in standard as 8 7/8 inches.is this the same as 225mm clutch? The next issue with that is its for a 93 wrx with the EJ22, but with it being the same size it should work...right? Provided they have the same spline count...

Moral of the story is, how much did subaru change the spline count in the transmission, is it the same year to year and what else do i have to take into account before i buy a clutch.

i wont be buying it off the centerforce website but if it helps i have provided a link to the clutch im looking at. Hopefully i get some solid advice from you gurus

Centerforce Clutches
8 7/8 inches is approx 225mm.

The 02-03 (likely 02-08) Impreza (non-turbo) have a 225mm flywheel

specs from 2002 service manual

OD x ID x thickness mm (in) - 225 x 150 x 3.5 (8.86 x 5.91 x 0.1 38)

Spline OD mm (in) - 25.2 (0.992), (No. of teeth: 24)

Current WRX now has 230mm OD.

Hope that helps.

Those were from the 02 Service Manual. IDK if the cluch is the same thru 08 but I believe it is good for 02-07 as the engine on the NA has not changed.
