Shifter vibration...........

I was just wondering if everyone's shifter vibrates. Everything (gear wise) is fine car shifts smooth, and when I get going in 1st, I usually shift to 2nd around 2500-3000rpms, and if I wind up the rpms in 3rd of 4th, the shifter really vibrates. Is there any way to lessen the vibration. The car has STI (optional) short shifter an KB bushings. I thank you for advice and help

I was just digging around a little bit and came accross a Cobb transmission mount. What does this mount actually do, and would it help the shifter vibration? Can it cause any damage?

^^^ It really depends on how much it vibrates?! I mean if its a violent shake or rattle or soemthign I would be really concerned, it is normal for shifters to vibrate! The tranny mount might help a bit but I'm kind of surprised that the bushings didnt eliminate the vibes. are they poly-urethane bushings?

The main benefit to the tranny mount is actually to lessen the torque/stress placed on the driveline. Similar to motor mounts and the flex on those, tranny mounts have the same if not more. By adding the tranny mount, you'll notice much smoother more consistant shifts!
