I have seen several VWs with our motors but not the entire drivetrain..

well there you have it. thatis the idea i was explaining. it would be essentially the same once you figure out how to make the subaru transmission rotate the other direction

what would be easiest is to have the motor facing front ways, sitting in the back seat with the transmission plunkered right where the rear diff would be, instant MRsoob. this would have the motor itself most rearward.

otherwise instead ofplacing hte tranny where the diff was, move the whole thing forward and connect the diff to the driveshaft yoke. but you would probably be sitting on the motor since it owuld be more forward

ive heard rumors about it coming back. but who cares? your all forgetting that the NSX has ALWAYS been FAR more expensive then it is cool. far more, like, leaps and bounds more.

Ahh I see yeah I know it's expensive, but I've always loved that car. Maybe I'll go for a skyline instead, although that'll be more expensive and more work.

for the same money as a NSX i could make almost any mid-size sedan faster. certainly a wrx.

Sometimes it's not about how fast a car can be. I absolutely agree I could make my car blow an NSX out of the water. I like the wrx/STi more than any other car out there. The NSX would just be a fun weekend driver.

Its not always about the cars speed, or just the look. I like the rarity of it. Just like the saying goes, you get what you pay for. Just about any and everyone can afford the WRX, but not so with other cars. If I had an NSX, would do a thing but maybe rims and tires. To eac their own.

personally i dont apply the "you get what you pay for" logic with cars. most cars over 100K spend more time in the shop then on the road.
