Rebuilt stock tranny

guys, i need your help, my transmission doesnt go into first i want to rebuilt because i cannot afford a new transmission and mined works just fine is just first gear...does anyone know how much it would cost more or less ? please guys and thanx in advance

just had mine rebuilt about two months ago. it cost me about $2200 total, but i removed and sent the tranny out and then installed it to save myself some labor $$

$2200..OMG are u serious... dude dont tell me that...honestly i think im gonna have to sell my car..wow..thats crazy expensive....oh wow i dont feel good..lol

He probably didn't just swap out a bad gear though. That should be considerably cheaper

If you blew 1st gear... the parts are +/- 500.00 (had the issue a month ago in my rex)

The labor is the beetch....
