Power Steering Pressure Switch

I have a 2007 Subaru Wrx that i replaced the power steering pump on. When I bought the replacement I didn't realize that the remanufactured ones doesn't come with the switch in it and while I was removing my old pump I accidentally hit the switch on that one and broke it. Of course the dealership wont just sell the switch by itself. they want me to pay $700 for a new pump just to get the switch and nowhere else seems to carry the switch. So my question is can i use a pressure switch off of a base impreza and it still work? I know the pumps are different because of different setups to the cars but i don't see where the switch would really be different cause its really just a sensor going to the ecu. Only reason im asking this is because no junkyard around here has any wrxs are stis, all they have are bases so im hoping I can use that. Anybody know if this will work?

Most accessories are common among the Impreza product line, likely EJ product line. The steering rack itself is different for the performance models, but I don't think the power steering pump is different.

Compare the parts when you are shopping.

Well I just went by the junkyard and got them to let me look at the steering pumps for the base imprezas that they had and apparently the switch is internal with those. It didn't have a bolt that you could unscrew to pull the switch out so i guess back to the drawing board.
