New clutch - problem??

I have an 02 WRX, with 65K miles. Had the dealer install a new ACT street clutch. They told me the stock flywheel was fine, did not need to be replaced. They also said the install was easy.
So I get the car back, and there is a scraping or grinding noise (not the same as grinding the clutch) that only happens when you let off the gas. If you get back on the gas, or push in the clutch, the sound goes away. I've talked to ACT and they said they never heard of it.
Has anyone ever gotten something like this with an aftermarket clutch?

Thanks

hmm

sounds like clutch chatter to me. ask the dealership if they resurfaced the flywheel before installing the clutch. your supposed to do that to prevent chatter and slippage on a new clutch.
