7k miles? If it's truly bad that's a warranty issue. If it's because you are pushing too much torque through it, better your clutch than your tranny. Unless you are upgrading the transmission you don't want a much beefier clutch on there than OEM.
Yeah, I recommend a warranty clutch kit. It's covered by Subaru along with windshield wipers, brakes and other wearable parts. Save yourself $700 and have them do it. If your dealer gives you crap about it contact Subaru.
