I Need T Fitting for Inline Trans Temp Sender/Sensor

Hey gang. So I got my Hayden 677 transmission oil cooler for my 4EAT 2002 WRX. I would like to install a trans temp gauge. I would like to have the sensor probe in the rubber line either on its way to the stock trans cooler or on its way back to the transmission. So Im looking for a barbed T fitting where the oil cooler lines will push onto each end and I can screw in the temp sensor into the top of it. Ive seen pictures of the brass one some guy built Himself but no explaination of the exact one He used, thread pitch etc. I have searched for one but the only ones Ive found are little brass blocks with female threads on all 3 sides. I wont be using A/N fittings so I just need one with barb fittigs on the ends and threading on the top that matches a coolant, oil or trans oil sensors thread pitch. My oil cooler just has fittings for the rubber lines to slide right onto. If its good enough for the cooler then Im confident itll be fine for the fitting with some hose clamps applied.

Does anyone know where I can buy one of these? If not, whats the easiest way to build one with the least amount of pieces? I dont want to invite leaks or have to fudge one together with 4 dofferent fittings and adapters. Thank you in advance!

PS, should i put the sensor before the 2 coolers or after? Thank you!

This is great you guys are great.

Basically I need this but way smaller. This is 1 1/2" diameter for coolant hoses:

Auto Meter 2283: 1-1/2" Radiator Hose Adapter Also used for LS applications | JEGS

I need one around 3/8". Gott double check the hose diameter that came in my trans cooler kit and the stock ones in my wrx. Im also worried those wont match my cooler. I dont know what Ill do then.

This is great you guys are great.

Im not sure what youd like to see pictures of. All Im looking for is a fitting that would go in between a section of rubber hose with barb fittings and theres female threading on the top for an oil temp sensor to screw into. Its just a fitting for an oil temp gauge.

This is great you guys are great.

Basically I just need that brass fitting. Not the sensor itself since its for their proprietary system.

This is great you guys are great.

Hey gang just wanted to give an update. I found the fittings on eBay. I cant remember the exact name but THATS the key here. You need to use the exact specific series of words to find them but I found 3/8" aluminum barbed fittings with a 1/8" npt threaded female hole for the "tee". Theyre around $10 USD. Thanks everyone!

This is great you guys are great.
