I've looked around at other threads on the net, but I have not seen any mention of the "0" marks that are on the clutch/flywheel in any of the tutorials or examples and for that matter how to properly offset them accordingly:
When reinstalling, align the alignment marks.
• When installing a new clutch cover, position the
clutch cover so that there is a gap of 120° or more
between “0” marks on the flywheel and clutch cover.
(“0” marks indicate the directions of residual unbalance.)
-yellow dot on flywheel? how do you ID the "0" mark on the oem exedy clutch plate?
• Note the front and rear of the clutch disc when installing.
Confused on this as well, front and rear? top of clutch plate, bottom of clutch plate?
The parts I have are all practically new 6 speed stuff, there is a yellow dot on the flywheel, and a dime size white blot on the clutch plate. Are these "0" marks, and if so is this critical for the 120 degree offset on a new install?
