Stock. Plain and simple if the tranny is stock, you should keep the clutch stock also.

in other words, if you got an after market clutch, it would grab to hard and to much and just destroy ## tranny.

^ Personally, I wouldn't go much past a Stage 2 power setup with a stock trans.

I know I've seen a few aftermarket clutches mentioned that are the equivalent of a stock replacement... exedy, act, etc? Maybe that's what the op is wondering - specific brands/models of those clutches?

My 07 stock tranny/clutch (25,xxx miles) is holding 326 AWHP and 319 ft/lbs tq for 2 (over 5,xxx miles of driving) months now. Cant complain about a thing, clutch doesnt slip or anything. Shifts like the day I bought it.

Its capable of a decent amount. But, YMMV (Your mileage may vary). Its going to depend on how you drive and shift. If your torque shocking the trans...then you can kiss it good bye, sooner than later. Mostly referring to the 5MT. The 6MT can take more HP and TQ.
