double clutch or something...?

What's to double clutch? is it to hold the gas even during gear change (eg. during racing)?

that term is usally used on cornering races shifting up and down "they messed up at fast e the furious saying that frase" its like pressing the clutch engage thegear once engaged pressit again not all way and rev engine sky high and let it go ussually done on cornering races
