Denso hp oil filters?

So does anyone use the denso hp race filter on their car, and if so how is it working out? I only ask because I have taken my car to the tuner for the last couple changes and they swear by the denso. I have always heard the oem one is the best for our cars so that's what I ussally use. How does the denso stack up aginst the oem. Yes I ussally do it my self but latley I find my self to lazy/busy to do it, plus my tuner did an awsome job on my motor build so why not throw them some extra work?

I did several UOA's a while back and the OEM one was still working fine after 3K & 4K

How long do you go between oil changes.

No offense, but do you pay attention to your oil when you change it. I try to get it at 3k, but dont start sweeting it till around 3.5k, and even then running castrol I dont see much difference in color at least. Never done an analysis but there seems to be no major difference to me. But again, Im not an expert. Try it for a cylce or two and see how the car reacts and what you think, then make your own judgement from there. Thats what I have done in the past with trying oils. Not the most scientific, but its what I do and go by.

^This, a judgement call.

Does Denso state what the filter will filter up to ? (micron size and all that)

IMHO, the stocker always did me fine.

Yes, the blue ones. At one time the black ones were I believe.

Extended OCI's I would use something else, but for 3K-3500 OCI's.... The Suby filter does fine.
