Clutch Slipping!

When the car is cold the clutch slips in first gear from a stop. It is still under warr. so I'm not that worried about it, but i was wondering if anyone has had that problem before. Thanks

How new is your car? mine is 1000 miles and it just stopped doin it. The clutch as a break in coating and thats what it is. Give it some time if your car is still new.

"natural is nice but i'd rather be forced and blown"

It has close to 16000 miles and it still does it. I know what your saying about the coating, but I think it is more than that

Coating on a clutch? Never heard of it. Clutches are like brake pads in the sence the the friction material wont be painted over with an contaminent. Besides, during engagement it would be worn away. Now, if a clutch was heat glazed, where the clutch was burnt, then I would agree that it could be glazed. It sounds more like a weak pressure plate to me.

JDMness... Yum!
