I read around a little and I from what I saw it looks like at some point subaru started installing stock RA gaer sets in the 03's. Is that the same thing as the Version 6 STI RA gear set?

I'm no math genious but that is $2000 difference. That is a direct quote from andrew. I called him today and its 2k difference for a full ppg setup vs a 2 gear setup.
I'm sorry, but am I the only one that sees this as highway robbery. For that ridiculous price I would buy a sti 6 speed and do the swap.

How much hp can those gears hold compared to a 6 speed tranny?

Im not sure if you know what all it takes to swap a STI 6 speed into the WRX. Its more than just the tranny. Theres basically the entire rear-end of the car, and the DCCD to install. I guess if you could afford that set up and then put it in yourself it wouldnt be that bad, but that seems a little involved. I have heard that the PPGs are good to 800+HP. Not sure. I have only seen one WRX with that output and it was only on a dyno, so not sure what tranny he was running. But Im sure the PPGs could hold what you would throw at it, its your axles that would go next I would imagine.
