AA Transmission past 04 ??

in my search for a BA transmission ive stumble a few AA transmission marked as 2006 or 2005 or even brand new; how is this possible ? can someone please provide some insight on this ?? Thanx tuners!

I believe all 04+ are the newer gear set. I believe only the 03 got a "BA" mark to identify the second revision of the tranny in that year. Other years only have one revision.

Not 100% sure on this...

You mean, NA imprezas. I always assumed the wrx got the base line trans to cut costs. Which is why it has a failure rate over 300 whp. I could be wrong on that though.

Yes I mean the N/A cars...my cousin has an 02 2.5RS and it seems even cheaper than my WRX
