ticking sound, you sure its the transmission? does it go into gears okay? checked your fluid level or anything...if it is the tranny just look on nasioc and pick up another 5 speed for cheap and in the mean time when you start getting back cash flow build up yours

mobil 1 synthetic gear oil 90w i think..ive changed it out at 80k and at 92k and the last time i mixed prolong with it..yea its def. first gear i drove it around and did all kinds of different things to see if that was it..and i know this wasnt smart or safe but i took my hood off and my buddy sat on the edge of the windshield and listened to see where the ticking was comming from and he said it was coming from under/behind the firewall..( i did not exceed 15 mph and he wore a helmet(j/k))lol

There are alot of transmissions on EBAY people are selling that wouldnt be a bad way to go, and like WRXSHOTTA said as you get money back in your pocket slowly build yours up so it is way strong and then you wont have to worry about it again, then you can make money off selling that other one as well

Those gears are roughly 10-15 percent stronger than a stock transmission. Stronger yes, indestructible, far from it. Thats not a bad deal for it though.
