how much HP and tourqe can the stock 06 wrx tranny handle before it reaches its limit?

There is "no set limit." It does require a proper launch from a good driver to prolong it's life. Just be careful and try to keep as much load off of it as possible. You do see more people with stage 2 or stage 3 on stock wrx trannys but they know the proper way to launch.

Basically it all depends if you drop the clutch a lot/ drive like a !@#$#%$. Take care of your tranny, and it will take care of you.

i have yet to drop the clutch like a stoopid and i always give it alot of clutch when going from a stand. seen way to many youtube videos of retards just dropn the clutch and then lookn in the info about how the person blew there tranny up.

i dont intend on going crazy just wantt more umph at mid to high range power

Since I have had my car, the tranny has only been dropped like twice... Both times were not from me! First week I got my car, my friend dropped it to show me how fast it was =). Hahah. Just take it easy...
