Ride of the Month Contest

Hey guys, just curious if this would be something people would want to do here. I'm on another local Subaru Forum, slcsubaru.com and they run a "Ride of the Month" contest every month. Anybody that is active on the forum can post a few pictures of their car no matter what type of Subaru (here would be only WRXs) and everybody votes and then bam you have bragging rights. That website has a banner on top and all the ROTM winners scroll on top. Not sure if a banner like that is possible here, but that's just what they do.

This would be something a mod would have to like and approve, but just throwing the idea out there. It's a good, friendly way to see how our cars are progressing and what everybody has. Plus, rules state if you don't win and enter the next month, you have to use new pictures. At least it will keep it recent.

That's not a bad idea - my only concern is that it doesn't seem like we have too many active members and it would create extra work for whoever puts the contest together and maintains the whole thing. I'm thinking the same group of people would probably end up winning month after month. I'm curious to see what everyone else thinks though.

I like the idea, but we do have a fairly small group.

Yeah group size is one thing. I forgot to mention you can only win once in a 12 month period to keep it fresh. Just a thought as it works out pretty well on the local site here.
