I.e. 8

Yes, I maybe silly to use Internet Explorer 8. (The newest version) But, since I've downloaded that. The formatting of this site is way off. I have to scroll way to the right to see the rest of the posts and subtopic info bars. Just thought you guys should know the site might need edited for IE 8.

IE8 is probably a piece of junk just like all the other IEs. Maybe the admins could try adding tags to force IE7 compatibility mode.

In the meantime do yourself a favor and get Firefox, Opera, Safari, or pretty much anything else but IE.

Haha, this is true. There is also a thing you can click on the menu that's called compatibility mode. That makes the view corrected for websites that are designed for older browsers. Go figure.

Yes there is, I thought your complain was that you were forced to set it manually (didn't realize you didn't know about it at all). The fix that the admins could implement basically tells IE8 to set that automatically.

If you add this code to the header control (or soemthing that is shared on every page) it will make IE8 behave like IE 7.

I had to take out the "<" at the beginning of the tag, and the "/>" at the end so you could see the code.
meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=EmulateIE7"
