Well I broke down and decided to look into that Up-Pipe leak.. After I jacked her up and properly supported the front end I pulled apart the union between the Up-Pipe and Header.. What did I discover? Well the gasket that came with the header was wrong. The Diameter of the bore was too large. The hole was so large that it protruded into the bolt hole for the Up-Pipe thus allowing air to leak out the hole. I will post up some pictures as soon my girl gets home with her camera.. Headed out to Allied Auto Parts in town and grabbed (2) different gaskets to try out.. After a little modifications I got the first one to seal it all up.. Now she is running just like she did last year with 400whp. I'm all broke in and fluid changed again so I get to play.. I'm still only tuned to 22 psi but well on my way to that problem fixed..

Only one draw back now. Friday I drove to work to add a little Brake fluid (That's where I keep it) and I noticed that I was leaking coolant.. I have not however been able to recreate that leak to fix it.. Just one of those wierd things.. I'm going to keep an eye on that so I can find the source if it occurs again..

Well if you can see it on the photos. You can notice the raised section that was not crushed when the pipes were bolted together.. The other side was barely covering so I had to get a smaller I.D. gasket.

Man Ken, almost there. Glad to hear you got the uppipe leak fixed. Hopefully nothing major with the coolant leak. Good luck.

Well, things are going well.. The insurance company paid me 3700 for the damages and I used my network of friends and family to find some parts.. I ended up purchashing a new bumper assembly, and deck lid for 344.50.. I put the rest of the money into this..

Well, I finally asked her..

The best thing about the parts is that they came off of a 2002 Silver WRX.. And what do I have? A 2002 Silver WRX.. I didn't even specify color becuase I plan on repaining the entire car..
