No it's not the copper stuff.. I don't even know what to describe it as.. More of a thick black high temp silicone..

But for the bad news.. I was on my home today, about 5 minutes out of my girls mothers house and BAMB.. I got rearended at a stop sign.. Some guy in a Ford Focus came around the bend to fast and couldn't stop in time.. We are both ok and spend 4 hours in the ER in Cider Crest Hospital. I just feel like I slept wrong but my girl has a lump on the back of her head from a muscle pull. She is ok all in all however.. Phobos is however not as happy as she was.. I managed to fix the exhaust leak on the way over here to phillie so that was good and she ran great.. But now her deck lid needs replaced along with my rear bumper is push forward and needs replaced.. I also will end up getting a new EVOII catback.. I'll post pictures as soon as I get home as I don't have my connection cable..

Man, one thing after the other! I'm feeling the same way about my STi these days but DAMN, you got it worse. At least it was the back and not the front! Try to stay on the bright side, it's been keeping me going...

I'm not exactly sure about your set up but if you using a metal gasket then I think the gasket sealer acutally makes it worse. If its the permatex stuff, give them a call, they are they helpful. 1-87PERMATEX (1-877-376-2839) Permatex - Adhesive & Sealant Solutions...Made for the Professional is the website. The copper stuff Nagy was refering to is the stuff rated for high temp, the other stuff isn't supposed to work over 400 deg F. Hope this helps.

Well, as promissed..

Lets start off with the "Focus".. This is what happens to your car when you rearend a Subaru in a Ford..

This car was NOT operational after the crash.. I had to push it off the road.. It was towed away via flat bed..

If you really look at the liquid Copper it's only raged about 50 degrees higher then the stuff I used.

Well, due to a "LAZY" cop I was only given an Incident number and not the other drivers (at fault) info.. This means that I have to wait 7-10 days for the cop to file his report then I have to wait for the supervisor to approve it.. Only then can I "PAY FOR A COPY" so I can contact his insurance to get the car fixed.. My other option is to get it fixed through my insurance which means that I have to pay out of pocket for a copay and rental.. Only after my insurance gets repaid from his will I get repayed.. I'm not liking that idea.

From the look of things the following is damaged.
Rear bumper cover
Deck Lid
Actual bumper bar is pushed forward
Rear Passenger is buckled out a little at the wheel well.
Greddy EVOII Catback

I can't tell if my brake lights need replaced. They are definitly pushed out but I can't tell if the brackets are broken or not..

I also noticed that my idiot "Brake" light is now on.. It could be so many things.. I haven't checked it yet however. I plan to start at the EBrake and make sure that the micro switch is still inplace and that everything is ok. If that was ok, I planned to move on and check the ABS wires and sensors.. There are so many things.
