Yes my rings seam to be sealed up nicely now.. I have about 200 miles on the motor after a 20-30 minutes idle to wear in the cams.. I plan to change the oil Friday before a 4 hour road trip. After that trip I should be good to go for some minor boost..

I can't wait to see some more videos of your rex shoaf. Seeing your car makes me wish I just won the lottery.

I was checking out your post about your build. It looked great from what I read and saw.. It's fun babing the hell out of it isn't it.. Your condition really does sound familiar.. After I get enough miles to loosen up the motor I have a 6 hour drive from Pittsburgh to Baltimore MD to get tuned.. This trip this weekend is to Philly to visit my girls mother..

I wish I won the lottery.. It would have made it a lot easier and faster to build.. I'll post more videos once I get on the dyno..

Honestly I'm not sure.. I want atleast 1500 miles on her before she hits the dyno. A "wore in" motor will produce more power then a tight new one.. I also have to work around Phils schedule as he has, or should have just had a child which puts him out of the shop for atleast 2 weeks post birth..

Well I made it all the way from Pittsburgh to Allentown PA via the turnpike through Valley Forge (Had to drop my mother off at my sisters). The car ran great even hit a little boost here and there, however I ended up popping a coupler off my FMIC about 30 miles away from my hotel... I plan to fix that once I get up and moving..

EDIT: I almost forgot.. I discovered a "LEAK".. Stupid Header to Up-Pipe connection.. I can't believe that I have leak, I coated both sides of every NEW gasket with liquid gasket material.. It's not leaking out between the flanges rather it's leaking out the bolt hole which has me worried.. It's almost like the Up-Pipe is cracked and sperating from the flanges or it's just as simple as the gasket is not sealing at the main pipe, but it is sealing at the outside of the flange so the air is comming out of the bolt hole.. I don't know, once I get home on Monday I'm going to pull it all apart and fix it..

I've been battling a leak in the same connection. I have been through several stock gaskets and it would seal for a week or 2 then it would come back. I used a brush on copper gasket sealer the last time i changed the gasket. and i caked that shit on both the flanges and I think it sealed it. but you said you use that stuff too. was it the copper kind?
