After all this time stored away must have angered the beast..

The most expensive Clutch Alignment tool..

All said and done it was a productive weekend.. The motor is in and almost done.. I sent out my fuel injectors for cleaning and I have a couple little odds and ends to finish up before I fire her up for the first time but it's getting close.. Friday is my goal.. Let’s see if I can make it..

This time around all the exhaust piping is Jet Hot coated then Wrapped and lastly silicone coated.. I will NEVER wrap pipes again.. What a pain and my hand is still sore.. The block is an Axis Stage 5. Darton sleeves, CP (Short) pistons, Forged Rods and Crank, fully balanced to 10,000 rpms.. Now once I upgrade the oil delivery system I will be able to rev that high, however that's on the next time around..

You know, I really wish I knew exactly what everything in those pictures was so I could have a greater appreciation for all the work you've done. Things I noticed were: a big (rotated mount?) turbo, heatwrapped pipes, Perrin lightweight crank pulley, some kind of aftermarket clutch, and a crazy looking intake manifold? Clearly, I still have a lot to learn. I bet you're really happy though.

And what in the world happened to your head? That's gonna make one helluva battle scar.

Man, Ken that is one mean looking engine. That thing will be insane once you have the oil "problem" solved and can let the engine sing to 10,000 RPM I hope to see a video of it running. Are you still going to use it as a DD? Good luck with the rest of it man.

That is still the Rotated GT35R on there..

Yes she is still going to be my Daily Driver..

As for "Man Shows" comments:

That is an Ultimate Racing Rotated GT35R Turbo kit.. Yes I Jet Hot coated and Wrapped the Custom Down Tube, Agency Power UnEqual Header, Custom Up-Pipe, External Wastegate Dump Tube, and the Hot side Housing on the 35R.. I have a fully build block and heads which produce nice power so I need that 6 Puck Clutch and ACT Heavy duty Pressure Plate to keep the power moving to the wheels.. That crazy looking intake manifold is made by Magnus..

For a full list of mods (except for current things listed above) go to my post about "So you want a 600 whp car"...

That Oil Problem faces us all. It's the only thing I don't like about the Boxer setup.. The Heads just don't drain properly..

I was just actually researching and reading about the oil issue with our cars. Many car people say its the biggest down fall of the boxster engine. Good luck with it all.

Spend 5 hours tonight cleaning her up.. That "Haze" on the car and windows in the above pictures is not just dust.. The car was parked in front of an exhaust fan for some time. That fan kicks out grinding dust from polishing our products which rested on the car and created rust stains.. The finish was rough and just plain sad.. I had to hit it with Medium grit Polishing compound and my buffer.. She looks 100% better but is only 1/3 of the way done.. I still need to hit her with Glazing compound then either std wax or a clay bar.. I'll post some pictures towards the end of the week once I get her running.. Still need to tie down the fuel setup (my injectors are out to be cleaned) and some other minor odds and ends..
